Derek Ahl
Associate Education Director

Derek Ahl, Associate Education Director, has over twelve years experience with developing creative educational strategies in schools and businesses. He has worked as a teacher in both traditional and alternative classroom settings, and in the field with organizations such as Project Adventure and Outward Bound. At the Browne Center, Derek is passionate about implementing programs that inspire and motivate all learners and utilize alternative strategies to build successful outcomes. Some of his life influences include his role as Adjunct Faculty at the Thompson School of Applied Science, a 3 month walkabout in the Outback, and living on a South Australian farm helping it convert to a B&B.
