Mount Everest
This program was jointly designed with the Oyster River Middle School to supplement their classroom studies of Everest and related subjects, i.e. Nepalese Culture, glaciology, history. The adventure begins at Base Camp where climbing teams must plan their expedition to the top of the world. While "roped up" to travel, teams use creative thinking and teamwork to work through difficult challenges they encounter as they ascend from Base Camp to the summit of Everest.
Shackleton's Voyage
Join sir Ernest Shackleton's Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition to make the first overland crossing of the Antarctic. Your group's adventure begins after the Endurance becomes trapped in pack ice in the Weddell Sea and sinks. You are 1200 miles from the nearest human without a radio transmitter and no hope for rescue. Leadership and teamwork are required to reach the old Whaling Station on the island of South Georgia.
